Reuse Westchester was founded to

Promote, Connect, and Reuse

Our Impact

Before Reuse Westchester, information on where to go if one wants to give away a certain item was hard to find. It shouldn’t take hours to find directions to charities in the area. Reuse Westchester not only showcases all the charities in the area, but categorizes them as well for easy public use. Additionally, Reuse Westchester serves as a platform where needy citizens can request specific goods quickly to the rest of the community, instead of having to drive far away to places where they might not even find what they are looking for.

What we aim to do is to transform Westchester County into a less economically diverse location by connecting all the towns in the area. We aim to aid those living in poverty by linking them with those who have some much to give. Now, with Reuse Westchester, those living in towns with a median household income greater than $200,000 can now quickly connect easier than ever with those living in extreme poverty. We are taking action.

Reuse Westchester’s mission is to establish a lasting and effective connection between all communities in Westchester County, New York in order to provide the necessary goods to the needy, while simultaneously lowering the economic diversity of the area, reducing waste, and improving the recycling rates of the county.
